After Annapurna trek the Mt.
Everest or Solukhumbu trek
is the second-most popular
trek in Nepal. It would
probably be the most popular
destination, but it is more
expensive and difficult to
get to Solu khumbu than to
the Annapurna area. The
access to Everest is not
convenient, either have to
walk for a week or fly to
Lukla, which is mostly
unreliable. So, this trek is
better for the people who
have comparatively long
vacation. The final
destination of this Everest
trek is normally the Everest
base camp (5340m) but there
is no view of the world’s
highest peak Everest. So,
most of the trekker climb
kalapathar(5545m) on the
south of mt.pumori(7145m)
for the glorious view of
Mount Everest (8848m).
