Ganesh Himal Trek

ganesh himal trek

The Ganesh Himal Trek is relatively easily accessible but at the same time quite off-the-beaten-track and not regularly visited. Despite that, this trek has a lot to offer and is always full of surprises! This trek revolves around the famous Ganesh Himal range and it commences in Trishuli bazaar. On the trails you will witness strikingly unique landscapes not available in the other trekking regions in Nepal. Moreover you will also encounter a quite culturally diverse area with the Tamang ethnic group dominating the settlements. Diverse flora and fauna is yet another spectacular aspect of this trek.

Since it is less visited than other trekking areas, the nature around the Ganesh Himal is largely undisturbed. When it finally reaches its culmination at Sangjung Kharka and Khola Kharka it offers mesmerizing views of Ganesh Himal V, Ganesh Himal II, Langtang Li Rung (7,225m) and many more. This trek is a wonderful combination of nature and culture in this greatly unexplored regions of Nepal! If you are a nature lover and interested in learning about new cultures, while at the same time up for a small trekking challenge, then this trek is the perfect choice for you!
