Hiking around the Katmandu
valley rim
Taking to your feet is the
only way to see most
mountain areas of Nepal but
it is also the best way to
see the mystical valley.
This program is designed for
those visitors who have
limited time and energy. The
attraction of this program
is, something of the
mountains can be enjoyed
from the comfort of Katmandu
hotel in the limited time.
The short trip to the
Katmandu valley rim can give
you the glimpse of mountain
life and culture.
There are many beautiful
walks within the Katmandu
valley that combine cultural
experience and natural
heritage. To reach most of
them, we hire a taxi or car.
Most of the walks can be
completed in a day which
will take you to the sites
of great spiritual
importance. You will sample
the serenity of the
countryside and the dramatic
view of mountains.
Our program
We will take a packed lunch
or some sandwiches and fruit
