Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve
lies in the eastern part of
Nepal, which is embanked by
the koshi river. The reserve
is very much popular for
bird watching. The reserve
had been recognized as a
wetland site from 1987. The
vegetation of the reserve is
mainly grassland with
patches of scrub and
deciduous reverine forests.

Arrive Biratnagar
Airport, meet and drive to
Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp
1300 hrs :- Lunch
1500 hrs :-Birding in the
nearby surroundings of the
park
1900 hrs :- Dinner
Day 2:
0530:- Wakeup call
0600 hrs:- Morning nature
walk within near vicinity
0800 hrs:- Breakfast
0900 hrs:- raft boat on the
Sapta Koshi River with
naturalist to view some of
the water birds, water
buffaloes, dolphins and
various water habitats. End
boat trip by the bank of the
river and have picnic lunch.
Short drive to the Koshi
barrage to view some
birdlife and fresh water
dolphins. Late afternoon
return to the camp.
Day 3:
0530 hrs :- Wakeup call
0600 hrs :- More bird
watching into the jungle
0800 hrs :- Breakfast
0900 hrs :- Departure
