Katmandu Valley:

Rim of Katmandu valley: There are many resort areas around rim of Katmandu valley. Such resort spots are very panoramic and have best spots to see a large range of Himalaya and best point to witness Sunrise and Sunset. Nagarkot is the most visited resort town in the rim of Katmandu valley. Dhulikhel, Hatiban, and Daman are other famous resort towns in the rim of valley. Nagarkot is famous for Sunrise and Sunset view. Dhulikhel and Hatiban are famous for countryside tour. Daman has widest Mountain View.
Access: Such resort towns are best accessed by car.


Pokhara:

Pokhara is the most picturesque natural valley of Nepal. Situated around 900 m at sea level, Pokhara lies 200 km west from the capital city Kathmandu. Beautiful Himalayan range, green hills and hill stations surround Pokhara. It is therefore, one of the rare combinations of the arrays of snowcapped peaks, crystal clear lakes, turbulent rivers with deep gorges and picturesque village inhabited by various simple and friendly ethnic groups. From Tourist point of view, Pokhara is known as the tourist capital of Nepal that out of the total arrivals around 50% of the tourist visit pokhara every year. Pokhara region is popularly known as the trekking paradise of Nepal that the world famous trekking destinations such as annapurna circuit trek, annapurna sanctuary trek, jomsom-muktinath trek, Dhaulagiri trek, panchase trek, royal trek etc. begin from Pokhara. It is also the center for hill stations and cultural village tour. Besides trekking and cultural village tours. Pokhara is also a center for adventure tourism such as mountaineering and rafting. It is only one center for hang gliding and paragliding in south Asia.
As many culturally rich villages surround pokhara valley, tourists have several opportunity to experience the village life if inner Nepal. Pokhara valley, in fact, is a nature’s paradise. The serenity of Fewa Lake and the magnificence of the fishtail summit of macchapucchre standing behind it and many other unique natural gifts create an ambience of peace and magic. The nightlife in the fewa lakeside area is full of entertainment. In most of the hotels and restaurants, beautiful Nepali folk songs and dances are performed. Sights seeing of the heritages sites, flat water boating, paragliding and hand gliding, old bajar tour, cycling in the outskirt of the city and so on are the day time activities to enjoy.
Pokhara, as it is truly said tourist hub of western Nepal, is the gateway to upper mustang, muktinath, upper dolpo, and the world famous Annapurna region including hill stations and cultural village of mid-hill Nepal. The climate remains favourable through out the year-round-it is neither too cold nor too hot. However, the best periods to visit are considered autumn and spring. During this period, the sky is blue and the environment is lovely. Moreover, Pokhara valley is only such a place in the world to enjoy a closer view of the Himalayas that one can even enjoy the beautiful view of Himalayan range from his luxurious hotel room. It is in fact, a nature’s wonderful gift to the earth.


Lumbini:

Lumbini is a birthplace of Lord Buddha. The site is now developed as a Lumbini Garden and it is 16 Km west of Shiddarthnagar. The beautiful Garden in the Buddha’s time still retains its legendary charm and beauty and remains in the present day Lumbini Garden. Places of interest: Ashok Pillar, Maya Devi Temple, Archeological excavation sites, various Buddhist temples and monasteries from Buddhist countries from all over worlds. Near by town, Sunauli is an Immigration post between India and Nepal.
Access: Lumbini is best accessed by car, Local bus, and Air (Katmandu or Pokhara).

Gorakha:

 A mid-hill town lies between Kathmandu and Pokhara. The legend of Gurkhas begins here. Situated on a hill overlooking the snowy peaks of the Himalaya is the beautiful Gorakha Durbar. The Gorakha Durbar is a fort with palace and temple complex. It was from this very palace that King Prithvi Narayan Shah began his campaign to unify the present Kingdom of Nepal. Gorakha is a starting point of Trekking in Manaslu region.
Places of interest: Gorakha Durbar, Gorakhnath Temple, Gorakhkali Temple, etc.
Access: Gorakha is best accessed by car and bus.
Mankamana Temple is on the top of hill in Gorakha district. It is a scenic and pilgrim site. The Mankamana Temple is a famous temple where you wish to fulfill your wishes. Mankamana Temple is best accessed by cable car from Kuringhat at Highway between Kathmandu and Pokhara or by half day trekking.
Kuringhat is best accessed by car. Thus the trip to Mankamana Temple can be made a part of the tour to Gorakha or Pokhara. One can do 3 hours rafting in Trishuli River with put out point on Kuringhat and can enjoy cable car ride to Mankamana temple.

Janakpur:

 Nepal has a narrow belt of Gangetic plain in south along border with India. The plain is best known in Nepal as Terai. Janakpur is in mid-Terai and is famous Hindu pilgrimage site. Janakpur is a birthplace of Janaki Sita. Janaki Sita was married to Lord Ram of the Epic Ramayan. Places of interest are: Janaki Temple, Biwah Mandap, and numerous beautiful ponds. Janakpur is also a center of famous Mithila Arts and Crafts.
Jankapur is connected with Kathmandu by air and by road.

Dharan and Dhankuta:

 Dharan and Dhankuta are famous sister towns in Eastern Nepal. Dharan is situated on the east of Nepal, stretched from the edge of northern hill range to the south forest that divides the southern plain land of Terai. Dharan is also a center for Hindu pilgrimage and is popularly known as Barah Chhetra.
Dhankuta is just 3 hours drive from Dharan. Dhankuta, a hill-top town, is a starting point of trek to Kanchanjunga, Makalu, and Arun Valley. The nearest airport for Dharan is at Biratnagar.
