Sunkoshi River Rafting


Overview

The Sun Koshi is the longest trip in river miles offered in Nepal and is rated as one of the top ten river expeditions in the world.
Starting near the Tibetan border and draining off the Eastern Himalayas all the way to the sacred Ganges River in India, this river offers big volume whitewater. A journey down this river of gold impresses any rafting or kayaking enthusiast with relaxing canyons, refreshing waterfalls, bat caves, interesting temples, beautiful white sandy beaches for setting up camp and of course a great variety of whitewater.
If you are looking for a long river expedition with a nice variety of scenery and access to villages along the way, then the “river of gold” is a classic choice.

Chatara / 15 hours to Kathmandu

Day 1 = lunch & dinner
Days 2-8 = breakfast, lunch & dinner

Cost Includes:

  • Transportation from / to Kathmandu by tourist bus as per itinerary.
  • All International standard rafting equipment as necessary (Such as self bailing rafts, helmets, life jackets, kayaks, plastic paddles and spray jackets etc.)
  • Well-trained and highly experienced rafting guides, cooks, and other helper staff.
  • Camping & Cooking equipment (tents, mattress & kitchen gear).
  • 3 times’ a day continental & Nepalese meals during the rafting period (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
  • Accommodation in 2 person capacity tent during the rafting
  • All necessary fees, Government/Local taxes, all national park and conservation area fees. Tourist service charge,

Costs Excludes

  • Any type of personal expenditure such Alcoholic beverages and drinks, phone, and laundry.
  • Food & accommodation cost incase of any natural accident caused by weather.
  • Tips, Gratuities and expenditure.
  • Rescue & insurance such as travel, cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects. You are advised to insure for it.
