Tilicho Lake Trek

tilicho lake nepal

Tilicho Lake Trek is known as unique and a fascinating exploration of the Himalayan landscape as well as a rewarding spiritual quest. Tilicho Lake (5,200m) collects the glacial melt of the entire northern slopes of Annapurna and the Thorong Peak and is believed to be the highest lake in the world.

This trek begins in Besisahar and then continues along the Marshyangdi River, with fantastic views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east. This magnificent journey leads travelers through villages inhabited by a wide spectrum of people from a wide array of ethnic and cultural groups. Additionally, the route features unforgettable views of the majestic white Himalayas. At Tilicho Lake, travelers also have the option of crossing the challenging pass of Moesokanta La Pass to Jomsom instead of traveling to the Thorung La pass.

However, additional equipment, including tented camps, is required before travelers are allowed to continue. Depending upon your particular skill level, this additional route may or may not be recommended by our experienced team of guides.
